Violinist— Vocalist— Teacher based in Los Angeles
David is an active musician based in the Los Angeles area. He has been playing the violin since 2003 and has studied a broad selection of musical fields including orchestral music, vocal arts, and pedagogy.
In his early years, David studied with several violinists including Nancy Benning and former LA Philharmonic first violinist Mitchell Newman. He spent four years studying orchestral repertoire through the Kadima Conservatory of Music where he decided to pursue music professionally. David graduated from The Master’s University with a degree in Violin Performance. While at The Master’s University, he studied with experienced pedagogue and artist Michael Ferril.
Experienced Musician, Proficient Teacher, and Aspiring Performer
David performed in ensembles including the Master’s Chorale and the Master’s University Orchestra, serving in the latter as Section Leader, Assistant Concertmaster, and Principle Concertmaster. David is an experienced performer and has performed in several prestigious venues, a few being the Grand Ole Opry, the Hall of Crucifixion & Resurrection, and the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
As a dedicated teacher, David teaches a full studio of students in violin and voice by giving them the necessary tools to grow their musicality and nurture their potential. When he isn’t teaching, David provides services including performance in concerts, as well as providing music in weddings and other events.
